⭐️⭐️You spoke we listened⭐️⭐️
Late last week we were a little worried as there was not very many bookings for our Gluten Free Buffet. We put a couple of posts out telegraphing our concerns- the response from the GF community was wonderful.. it was a really successful night because lots of people shared and booked. Some regulars booked but mostly it was new customers (many travelling over an hour - which is humbling)- the feedback was great and we got a few lovely reviews.
However one of the comments that was repeated both on line and directly is that a lot of people want to come but cant because our event is only twice a month - and it has just never fitted in with their plans - so we have decided to do a buffet every week going forward - starting this Saturday.
This means we are starting from zero for the next Saturday ... bit risky so we are going to increase the number of dishes and reduce the price on our drinks by 30%. To make it a very special night.
Our chefs have some great ideas and will be publishing our menu very soon.. however it will be 100% home cooked and delicious and 100% safe .
Oh and you don't need to be Gluten Free its just bloody good food that happens to be 100% GF

We don't know what is happening?

After virtually selling out week after week our booking for our all you can eat buffets has fallen off a cliff...
We are particularly surprised at our Gluten Free Buffet which has had such great support and reviews....
There is so much work goes into each event by our chef and staff it is heart breaking to see it become unsustainable.
Please if you are thinking of going can please let us know and if not (but have enjoyed our events in the past) please share and highlight to anyone you might think would be interested.

That said we are thinking that maybe the solution is not to cancel unviable buffets but increase the number of buffets - we are thinking maybe every Saturday will be GF - so those that want to go but have made plans on the current dates don't have to wait weeks and weeks for the next event.



Love your feed back and thoughts... and obviously if you can make it tomorrow it would be a weight off our mind..

On Friday we have our usually popular WEST AFRICAN ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET
Our Chef Hawa has spent 26 years in the UK working for many well known restaurants or catering for festivals and events but was originally from West Africa.
Friday's Buffet is her chance to showcase her home cuisine and culture. Your chance taste the deep flavours of her childhood that inspired her and influenced the food of so many countries (in particular the Americas and Caribbean.

DONT BLAME IT ON THE SUNSHINE? MJ once said but it's all we can think of...
After a few absolute belters in a row (our last few all you can eat buffets have been virtually sold out) then this happened - we have had great reactions, good reviews and encouragement from the many many people -some travelling literally hours to enjoy our homecooked buffets - coming from Alnwick, Carlisle, Scarborough to little old Crook - just for an authentic taste of home... be that Southern Africa, Brazil, The Caribbean -- we have a different theme every week.... so if you haven't tried one why not its only £16

So sadly we will have to cancel tomorrows Buffet but be assured we will be making extra effort to make the next few buffets extra special...

Next week on Friday we have AYCE West African Buffet (our Chefs home) and the on Saturday our ever popular Gluten free.
