The hospitality sector has come together to launch – a united campaign and petition calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced from 20% to 10%.

Spearheaded by chef and publican Tom Kerridge, we’re working alongside trade bodies across the sector, such as and , hospitality communities like , and you, businesses across hospitality, to say 10% VAT is fair for hospitality.

Our sector pays too much tax, and VAT is the single biggest lever the Government can pull to support venues, our customers, our high streets and our local communities.

This campaign is for everyone: businesses, customers, waiting staff, chefs, kitchen porters, bar staff, hotel teams, farmers, brewers, suppliers and producers.

HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped make this dream a reality. ❤️

We’re not going to lie — it has been an incredibly hard year. There have been challenges, long days, and moments where things felt overwhelming, but we made it through thanks to the amazing people who believed in our dream, supported us, and gave us a chance when we needed it most.
We are so proud of what we’ve built and even prouder to be serving amazing homemade food, fantastic drinks, and a beautiful view for everyone to enjoy. Creating a welcoming place where people can relax, eat well, and make memories has always been our goal.

We also want to address something openly — we know the previous reputation of this place hasn’t always worked in our favour. However, we want to reassure everyone that we are a completely new team with a fresh vision, and we have absolutely nothing to do with the past. We’re focused on creating something positive, warm, and worth visiting.

Thank you for believing in us, supporting local, and being part of this journey. We can’t wait to welcome many more of you through our doors. 🥂

We can’t believe it’s already been a year since we opened our doors to the public!

And what a year it’s been… full of ups and downs, so much fun, and plenty of stressful moments too. But we are incredibly proud of everything we’ve achieved and so grateful to be surrounded by so many amazing people who believed in us, supported us, and continue to be part of our journey.
A huge thank you to everyone — and especially to our incredible staff. We couldn’t have done it without you! ❤️
