What a weekend. Small pub, big chaos! Sunshine, full pints, full plates, and a week that’s had us working at full tilt! We’re tiny but mighty…. 😂😊😎 Mostly mighty on the food orders and trying to keep up with the drinks!

We’ve survived the madness (just about), and we’re doing it all again THIS SATURDAY! Lawrence County playing, pints flowing, and a proper toe-tapping night ahead! 8pm ish start. 😎🤠🎶

Huge cheers to you lot for a belter of a week. Here’s to the start of June and what that may entail for us all. For us, we’re hoping it’s full of ale, chaos, good people, and all things “Cliff Inn” related. ✊🏻☺️ Lots of love! LC x

Recent times at The Cliff… As well as one of our busiest weeks yet.

And no, I don’t reckon I’m joking! 😊😳🧡

And by “recent times” we mainly mean: one very busy little pub, one slightly sunburnt beer garden, and much chaos. But throughout it all, there’s been much laughter, as well as much joy… To be frank! 😆

What a belter of a week it’s been. Sunshine, bank holiday fun, and all that goes off in-between here and there. I am one very grateful Lil! Huge love to all customers, local folk, followers, and all that may be for your continued support. We wouldn’t want it any other way! 😊♥️😎

So what have we got coming up? The unforgettable Lawrence County on the 6th of June. From 8pm-ish… “A wonderfully unlikely mix of attitude, Americana, alt-country and folk from the Bagthorpe Delta.” 😎🎵 Now what’s not to like? Come and get stuck in!

Right. Massive appreciation post needed for Ossett Brewery after they kindly sent me some absolutely elite White Rat t-shirts…. ✊🏻😎🐀

Not only do we currently have White Rat on at The Cliff Inn (and it’s flying out as usual), but I now also appear to have accidentally become its unofficial spokesperson. 😆😊♥️

The shirt itself is dangerously cool. Slightly unhinged. Very “born from the shadows, crafted for the bold.” Which honestly feels quite fitting for someone who lives behind a pub bar and survives mostly on crisps, chaos, and explaining ales to strangers…. 😂😜✊🏻

Huge thanks to Ossett for the merch and for keeping us supplied with one of the best pints going amongst many other favourites 🍺

If you need me, I’ll be dramatically drinking White Rat in sunglasses whilst pretending I’m in an indie band. It’s beer garden fashion week up in our ends! Big cheers!

📢 FUNDRAISER NEWS 🐎💰 Last weekend was Race Night at the Club, superbly organised and hosted by our very own Michelle Worthy & Joyce Sayles. Massive thanks go to both of them 👏🙌 - they worked hard to make the event a big success with all proceeds going to Crich Glebe Community Centre, our community resource and registered charity, to help them continue their fantastic work for us all in the area.
