The Swettenham Club is honoured to be hosting the next men’s county game. Get yourselves and the family down for a pint 🍻and bbq 🍔🌭. Please come and support some of the counties finest bowlers as they take on a strong Cumbrian side.
Should be a great day 🙏☀️🍔🌭🍻🏆 Sunday 7th June 2026, the match commences at 2pm but the club will be open before hand so come and start the afternoon early, normal opening hours of 12 noon apply but we will be open in advance of this to allow the players arrival as already agreed.

Another lovely Birthday party for James who was 4 this weekend. James had a farm themed party and was joined by his friends and Family and they were entertained by the lovely Nick Barnes Magician, he certainly keeps them entertained. James left his octopus 🐙 here so he is waiting patiently to be collected but looking after the pool table in the meantime. Happy Birthday from The Swettenham Club 🎁

Advanced notice for one of our great interclub/pub games day, to be held on Sunday 1st March 2026. Swettenham Club v Wharf Inn, starting from 12 noon until 5pm. It’s a good day for all including families.
Just come and support the friendly banter, a little bit of friendly competition, have a drink and socialise. Note there is no bowling on this one as Bowling Green closed until Spring.

Yesterday Nancy and Millie had their Wicked themed 6th birthday celebration and they and their guests were joined by Galinda and Elphaba from Precious Little Princess Parties a great time was had by all, Happy Birthday to both of you from The a Swettenham Club 🎉🎁
