What a day at Swettenham Club on Saturday 12th Better Connected sponsored the Singles Crown Green Bowling Knockout this month, and it turned into a proper community occasion, rain and all.

31 players took part, the barbecue was on all day, the kids helped run a cake stall, and the final went right down to the wire, finishing 21 to 20.

Well done to Phil Gregory on the win, and thank you to everyone who came along, played, cooked, baked and cheered.

This is what supporting the local community is all about.
