A huge thank you to everyone who played, donated, bought raffle tickets, came to watch, and joined us afterwards. The support for Wolt’s Charity Match has been absolutely incredible.

We don’t have any totals or raffle winners yet because we’ve been so bloody busy! 😂 Our bar staff have definitely earned their wages today.

We’ll share totals, winners and more photos tomorrow. For now, thank you all for making today so special. ❤️⚽

The boots are (hopefully) polished, the knees are already creaking, and tomorrow it’s time to do it all for a fantastic cause! ❤️

Join us at Markland Playing Fields from 2pm as friends, family, former teammates and local legends come together to remember Wolt and raise money for a community defibrillator.

We’ve got some AMAZING raffle prizes up for grabs, so make sure you’ve got a few quid in your pocket to help us raise as much money as possible.

⚽️ WOLT MEMORIAL CHARITY FOOTBALL MATCH ⚽️

The countdown is on! Join us on Saturday 6th June as friends, family, teammates and rivals come together to remember our mate Wolt Sanders and raise money for a cause that will benefit our whole community. ❤️

📍 Markland Playing Field
⏰ Kick Off: 2pm
🕐 Players to arrive by 1:15pm

💷 £5 per player (pay via the JustGiving page or cash on the day)

❤️ All money raised will go towards purchasing a community defibrillator to be installed outside The Black Diamond in Wolt’s memory. A fitting tribute to a man who did so much for so many people in our village.

⚽️ All players welcome – whether you played with, under or against Wolt over the years.

👕 If you’re playing, please bring:
• Black shorts
• Black socks
• Football boots
• Shin pads

🎟️ There will also be a raffle on the day, so please bring some cash if you can.

🍔 After the match, head back to The Black Diamond, where we’ll be open and This Little Piggy Hog Roast will be serving from 4pm.

Even if your footballing days are behind you (or your knees now make more noise than the crowd 😅), we’d love to see you there. Come along, cheer the lads on, share some memories, and help us raise money for a fantastic cause.

💎 CHARITY GAME 💎

After hearing about some of the players lining up for Wolts Former Players, we knew we had to raise the stakes! So, we’ve called upon Creswell’s finest footballer, cricketer, golfer, and quite possibly the best-looking bloke in the village…

For one game only (or maybe even just one minute!), we’ve managed to secure a striker that every defence should fear:

This is shaping up to be a fantastic event!

We’re also putting mini nets around the pitch, so if you’re bringing the kids along, they’ll have somewhere to enjoy a kickabout too. ⚽

We won’t be policing ticket sales for this one, but if you’re planning to come down and support the day, we’d love it if you could bring a bit of cash for the raffle and any competitions we run 👀
