Hello everyone!
Just a quick post say thank you for your patience while we've been getting ready to open the lovely Bell at Yarpole, thank you also to the committee and shareholders for stepping back so they can enjoy the pub, I think some have taken a well earned holiday.😎

So we'll be opening the doors at 4pm on this coming Saturday for drinks and snacks, with work still ongoing in the kitchen, food will not be available yet.

We've been at the Bell for about 10 days now, needless to things aren't going to plan, we keep finding things to sort out and waiting for tradesman to give us a lift, on the positive side we've taken on a lovely pub in a beautiful part of Herefordshire/Shropshire border.😊

We have agreed to take on the tenancy of a lovely country pub that you've probably heard of, the Bell at Yarpole😊. We don't get the keys for a couple of weeks, we'll update when we know more about an opening date.

Was planning on posting some photos of a recent visit to Crail and Pittenween on the coast, but we've just heard the sad news about Chris Bodenham passing away.😕

Bods would often pop in for pint on his way home from work, tell a few jokes, share a piece of trivia, moan about Spurs and take the mickey out of Man Utd!

He was very complimentary about our beer and food and happy to tell whoever would listen, how much he liked our lovely little pub, which was very sweet of him!

Our hearts go out to his family and close friends.
RIP Chris ❤️
