I have very limited stock availability for coasters that have proved VERY popular this year.

Here are just a few designs that have been made as gifts for customers.

Solid oak, spalted beech, walnut, elm are just some of the solid coasters available.

A combination of hard woods have also been created for some stunning designs.

Another happy (returning) customer....

Client wanted her dining table altered as the chairs that were recently aquired did not cater for the original dimensions of the table that was purchased a couple of months prior.

Fast forward a few discussions and different design options, here we are with yet another truely stunning dining table.

Hi all.

Hope everyone is safe and not too much damage has been caused from the storm last night.

Due to the recent events, the venue has cancelled todays craft market 😪😪😪.

We have re-schedualed for attendance on Sunday 5th December.

Hopefully the weather will hold off for a superb event.

Hi all.

Sorry for being very quiet recently... I have been creating some fantastic items ready for Xmas Craft Markets which we will be attending this year.

First off.... Secret Garden Venue, located on Double Row in Seaton Delaval.
First one fo myself and also the venue, but I'm sure it will turn out to be a fantastic event.

As the build up to the festive season is in full swing, why not treat your friends/family/yourself to a shot or 6 😃.

Superb 6 glass holders have been created in the workshop using solid oak and finished with a natural sealant to really show off the fantastic character in the grain.

Can be created in any design you like and is supplied with shot glasses.

I have been inundated with requests for these ever so popular bottle openers, so thought I would create some out of other tasty species.

Been very busy over the last couple of weeks creating yet another stunning dining table for a fantastic returning client.

Thanks again Gemma for the continued support.

I will be posting some pics up once Gemma has decorated and it has settled into it's new home.

Normal service will be resuming once the workshop is back to functional 😅

So, in the meantime, here's another tasty chopping board created in the workshop to add to my growing collection ready for craft fayre season 🤩

Getting some fantastic species of hard wood through at the minute so keep an eye out for further designs/furniture pieces.

This stunning creation is created with the following hardwoods:

Mahoghany ⭐
Chakte Viga⭐
Oak⭐
Padauk
Walnut⭐

Mind blowing some of the characterists of grain pattern in this piece ❤

Measuring a whopping 19x12" and a beefy 1.5" thick.

Some fantastic beer caddies I have created that proved very popular at last years Xmas craft markets👌

Available in both 4 and 6 bottle holders - larger/smaller caddies can be made upon request.

Caddies come with a bottle opener attached to the side.

Fantastic little Xmas pressies for family and friends.

Can be stained/personalized for a small additional charge.

Serving board created using waney (live) beech stock with a resin river running through.
River has a blue tint to it for contrast and to really show off the beauty of this fantastic piece.

Alot more labour involved with using resin, however, the results speak for themselves 👌

This opens up a million more doors for me at AJR Design... River tables, coffee tables, serving boards... you name it!

More exciting items just finishing up curing which I can't wait to showcase!

It is for this reason that got me into wood design... 🤩🤩

Taking a tired looking piece of pippy oak, stripping it right back to release some of it's absolutely stunning character that was hidden below the surface and creating something special.

I thought about filling in the open grain with epoxy, but then asked myself why... I would be taking away the very reason why this species of hard wood is simply beautiful.

I just couldn't wait to let the natural finish dry to get some pics of these beauts.

Simple yet truely stunning.... hats off to you mother nature 👌.
