We apologise, 14:13 is ample time when lunches close at 14:30. The board you speak about, we bring that in when we’ve ran out of food to avoid disappointment.

I’m sorry that the sandwich board you passed also managed to be stowed away inside the lobby, it’s got a mind of its own.

Also yer absolutely correct you can’t argue time, you either came in at 14:13 or at “5 minutes before 20 past 12”

This wee woman here, She’s brilliant. She’ll do anything for anyone. Honestly just come to the pub and get yersel a pint, she’ll appreciate every single one of ye. I’m biased cause she’s my maw but she’s lovely.
