Announcement

We are super excited to announce The Oak is now under new management.

We thank everyone for their patience during this time
We would like to introduce ourselves we are Joy & steve, we would love it for everyone to join us for a open day party on Saturday 13th june 2026.

We are bringing back good food, drinks offers and theme nights.
More details with the party day, new menus will follow.

We look forward to seeing everyone.

Some of our lovely regulars might have noticed that we have been closed today. We are currently undergoing a change in management, and unfortunately we have had to close temporarily. We hope that this will be for only a week or two, but will keep you posted!

📢Personal Post‼️
As a company we are partisipating in a charity event, with this, Marcus, Paul and Josh will be taking part in a wolf run (google it), to raise funds for a charity close to the heart of many, especially members in our head office.... I will share a bit of background as to why we are doing this!

James our office manager's Dad sadly passed away on March 7th. To support the amazing care he received, we’ve decided to raise money for Myton Hospice where Chris spent his last few days. All our pubs (within our network) are joining in to support this amazing charity.

**Satement from Myton House**

The Myton Hospices believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life; we focus on enhancing life when cure is no longer an option.

Myton are a charity, not the NHS, and must raise £12.7 million of the £15.3 million it costs this year to provide our services free of charge.

Just 17% of our funding comes from the NHS.

Last year, they supported over 2,000 people and their families, in our hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home.

⚠️So watch this space for weekly raffles, hampers and much more to win.

We as a community need to help raise as much money for this amazing charity, so we are asking for donations of any kind.

You can help us raising money by joining our raffle to help donate.... you can donate online, or you can sponsor us for doing the run.

‼️Raffle prizes will include: a gallon of beer (subject to terms) or wine (not a gallon 😂).
