Renovation Stories: The Anchor Inn - The Journey Begins!
The Anchor is currently closed as we transform this much-loved village pub into a beautiful Butcombe Boutique Inn, reopening on Tuesday 24th November.

We're giving you a sneak peek into the inspiration behind the redesign. Expect cosy pub spaces rich in character, a bright new restaurant inspired by the countryside and boutique bedrooms designed for the perfect countryside escape.

The Anchor you know and love is still at the heart of it all, with a fresh new look that celebrates its history while creating somewhere special to drink, dine, stay and unwind.

Hola people of Box Hill and surrounding areas! As a lot of you may know, we are hosting a Spanish evening tomorrow night! The pub is decorated, Spanish hand fans and castenets at the ready!

We have live Flamenco music, beautiful Spanish cuisine made by Head Chef Jacob and stunning Spanish style cocktails to ease you into the weekend!

Only a few tables are available inside but we have plenty of space under our pergola where we have heaters.

You may have noticed we haven't created a video so far. This because of clashing times to film. BUT, the team and I will try to put something fun out this evening for you to enjoy!

We hope to see you tomorrow night at our taverna for a Fiesta and celebrate everything Espanyol!
