WE'RE HIRING

We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Event & Private Hire Coordinator / Pele Host to join our team at The Pele Tower, Corbridge.

This part-time role will focus on helping grow our events and private hire, alongside front-of-house hospitality duties within our unique 700-year-old tower.

✔ Event experience essential

✔ Minimum two shifts per week

✔ Opening and closing responsibilities

✔ Additional hours for events and private hire bookings

We’re exploring the idea of working with a local cake maker 🧁

At The Pele, we’re looking at introducing a small, carefully chosen selection of homemade cakes to enjoy alongside a drink — nothing over the top, just a few really good options that suit the character of the building.

We’d love to find someone local who can help us create something that feels right for The Pele — simple, high quality, and a good fit for our setting and customers.

We’re not looking for volume — just a consistent, thoughtful selection that can evolve over time.

Delivery would be once a week (Thursday), to cover Thursday–Sunday service.

As a working venue, we would need:
• A registered food business with a good hygiene rating and clear allergen information

If you’re local, take pride in what you make, and feel this could be a good fit — we’d love to hear from you.
