After a fabulous Friday spent at the Tower Ballroom with DENW Dancers, Saturday was Team Inspiration Day at the UKA Dance Conference at Winter Gardens. Three amazing lectures/workshops,, starting with Salsa; never miss the opportunity to learn with these guys, always great content and structure, just a joyful class. Never done a classical class before, so a little nervous, Stuart put everyone at ease with his delightful sense of humour, I didn't realise I was going to enjoy being a 'goat' so much, loved it!! Finally, Argentine Tango with Vincent and Victoria, Exciting and challenging content with great hints and tips on lead and follow. A day that left the DENW Team absolutely buzzing. Thank you and well done UKA Dance can't wait for next year... Vincent says we are doing lifts!!!

Wow…. What an amazing weekend we have had! Started Friday, with 70 of us turning up at the Tower Ballroom for dancing and afternoon tea and were joined by more DENW dancers turning up to dance with us for the day. Chris Hopkins played his first ever Salsa Gibraltar at the Tower, Marianne Teconi you would have been proud xx

Please note that due to the heat, we are closed tonight at Swinton and there is no dance at the Pop Club tomorrow night. We are at Accrington on Wednesday and back at Swinton on Thursday. Stay safe in the sunshine this weekend.
