๐ค A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT HQ EVENT TICKETS ๐ค
I've had a few messages recently asking about refunds, cancellations and swapping tickets between events, so I just wanted to clarify things before we open.
I completely understand that life happens. Plans change, things crop up, and sometimes you simply can't make an event you've booked.
And believe me, I would LOVE to be able to accommodate everyone. โค๏ธ
However, tickets are purchased for a specific event and cannot be refunded or transferred to another event simply because you're no longer able to attend.
When you book, your place is reserved, and I plan everything around those bookings, from food and drinks to entertainment, staffing and seating.
For example, Rocky Horror is completely SOLD OUT. If six people can no longer attend and I move their tickets to Mamma Mia, that leaves me with six places to try to sell again at Rocky Horror.
Now imagine doing that for multiple bookings across multiple events. ๐
As much as I'd love to say yes to everyone, I simply can't afford to do that, especially while getting a brand-new venue off the ground.
And if I make an exception for one person, it's only fair that I do the same for everyone.
So I have to be consistent.
If you can no longer attend, you're welcome to pass your tickets on to friends or family. Just message me with the new details so I can update the booking.
This doesn't affect your statutory consumer rights or what happens if an event is cancelled or materially changed by HQ.
Please, please make sure you've got the right date and can attend before booking!
I'm putting absolutely everything into making these events happen, and your bookings are helping turn HQ from a building full of black paint and questionable DIY decisions into something pretty bloody special. ๐๐ธ
Thank you for understanding, supporting HQ and continuing to book your nights out with us.
Love, Dan x ๐ค
