Our Story

Quigley’s Bar in Congleton. Once known as The Staffordshire Knot & The Beat Root its gone through a vast change and what was once a very traditional pub that has been through a few changes in its years ,but is now lovingly restored as a contemporary bar, serving a range of freshly prepared on-sight meals from a variety of cuisines.

The bar has recently been revamped and reopened and is now being managed by Roberto, and the kitchen by Adrian. The Mancunian extraordinaire pair share over 50 years of experience in the hospitality and catering sector. Robbie prides himself in bringing a creative and distinctive customer experience which will bestow a classy, but quirky edge to the Congleton bar scene, delivering customers a unique and enjoyable visit-weather it is to down a pint of one of our many continental beers, or sip on a one of our bespoke designed cocktails, there’s something for everyone at Quigley’s. Upon arrival, you will escorted to your table by one of our welcoming team members, whom are adhering to, and are currently up to date in line with government COVID-19 compliance. you will provided with a cocktail/wine list which will also include our brand new food menu as well as bar snacks menu.
