We're back! It's so good to be planning our next event, and we are super excited to be back at Boyce's Barrel, Colne on Saturday night from 6pm. Featuring our scrummy tamarind chicken roti bowl and for the vegetarians and vegans a new jackfruit roti bowl which has gone down very well with our taste testers! As always we have a couple of fabulous specials on till they're gone, so get yourself down, grab a table, and get the beers in! See you Saturday!

At Boyce's Barrel, Colne it's about the beer...

From Jennings Brewery in Cockermouth, Cumbria we have Sneck Lifter (5.1%) First brewed in 1990, this has become one of the most revered beers in the Jennings portfolio (and the one that they were most asked to bring back!). Brewed with Maris Otter pale, amber and a dash of pale chocolate malts, and a blend of Fuggles, Goldings and Challenger hops - some of the UK's most respected varieties. These will combine for a glorious deep amber ale, with russett highlights and a warming character. Complex flavours of dried fruits and hints of spice make a perfect beer to savour, whatever weather the Lake District gives you!

Sneck Lifter, in Northern dialect, means someone's last sixpence, which allowed them to lift the latch of a pub door and buy a pint of beer, with hopes that another friendly face inside would buy them a couple more.

From Pictish Brewing Company in Rochdale we have Azacca (4.3%) A pale, very hoppy beer using Azacca hops. Azacca beers are dominated by mango, pineapple, tangerine, and citrus, with undertones of pine, spice, and grapefruit.

At Boyce's Barrel, Colne it's about the beer...

From Mallinsons Brewing Company in Huddersfield we have Vista (3.8%) A single hopped pale ale with light aromas of juicy peach and a refreshing bitterness with light citrus and stone fruit and lightly noble flavours. A lovely, sessionable ale!
