The Castle Inn, which we have run for the past 14 years, is located in the quiet village of Cold Ash, near to Thatcham in Berkshire. We appear in the Good Beer Guide for 2009 and 2011, and are also Cask Marque accredited since 2002. We have on offer an extensive lunchtime and evening menu including a wide range of beers and wines which cover most tastes. As well as being able to enjoy a drink or m

eal inside, we also have a large patio area, enabling you to make the most of any good weather we might have. Also, we are trying to accommodate customers with a gluten allergy, by providing 1 or 2 of Maggie's homemade gluten free dishes, such as Shepherd's Pie, Minted Lamb Casserole and Steak & Stilton Pie.

We’ve heard the rumours going around, and we just want to take a moment to clear things up…

We are not going anywhere! 🍻

In fact, we’re really happy to share that we’ve just signed a brand new lease for the next 5 years! The Castle means the world to us, and we’re so excited to continue building great memories here with all of you.

Thank you for all your support, loyalty, and for being part of our journey — new or old, it truly wouldn’t be the same without you.
