Formed in 1983, the Arts Centre Jazz Club (as it was known back in the day) promoted the best in modern/contemporary jazz until 1996, showcasing leading names from the UK, Europe and America. While the Arts Centre continued to showcase artists, after almost 20 years, they felt it was time to bring me out of retirement to resurrect the club.
