I am fascinated by this appalling Post Office scandal as we can relate to this on a smaller scale. Alan Bates has done everything by the book and can prove it every step of the way. I admire his integrity, honesty and sheer determination to go through this long drawn out costly court case. It was not fair for us to continue with ours because of the cost to us monetary and health. If it were just me I would have but couldn’t put my family through this as it consumed us. When you’re dealing with liars and thief’s and when they are not using their own money it’s hard. But every dog has its day and their time will come one way or another and I for one will be waiting and watching. This Post Office scandal has opened old wounds but we have moved on.

My heart goes out to those hundreds of Post Masters that have been accused of a fraud that they were totally innocent of. Having been put in a similar situation by lying conniving vile individuals we can empathise of what they have been going through. To lose your job your house and in some instances your life because of a situation that is not your making is despicable. Even one of our legal team told us that unfortunately in this country you need very deep pockets and no guarantee you will get all your costs back. Hopefully because of media coverage something like this will never happen again. Let’s hope that the people responsible get their comeuppance one way or another.

It’s so lovely to see these familiar names! Unable to reply to all as some don’t have a reply button. We had to stay away from social media because of the long ongoing court case that never happened which we knew wouldn’t! They took away our business those vile disgusting people don’t want you to think we’ve forgotten about you…..but now we can start looking back on the wonderful memories we all created we are in a much better place now thanks to our wonderful kids our beautiful grandkids and our close circle of friends who were with us all the way.

Well me and Johnny boy have come to see one of our groups that we used to have at our club Room on the Park as a surprise great to see them Stayin Alive. We pre-ordered our food been here since 7.00pm had our first course around 7.45pm still waiting for the main course! The group is on at 9.00pm it’s made me realise how professional we were bearing in mind it was really only us a coupe of waitresses and about 4 bar staff. They have twice as many people . 120 dinners cooked dishes up and cleared away in an hour ready for the show!!! Sitting here missing what we used to do and Big Johnny Wright DJ extraordinaire. Those were the days.

Well this is somesomething that has taken 6 years of our lives to finally say at last! 6 years our business was taken away from us by vile individuals who shall remain nameless. Mainly from one family who obviously was eaten with jealously and with a couple of people to whom they could manipulate to tell their lies.
The amount of money they tried to get from us has been won by us and settled out of court. Unfortunately it has not come from their pocket but their employers. Now that employer is aware of the infesinfestation he employs lets hope he gets rid of them all. They dont need help from anyone else for their demise from what we hear involved in illicit affairs, drink driving, overdoses and fighting amongst themselves we can sit back and enjoy. Thank you to our family and true friends who have been with us all the way especially our kids that have had to endure what we have been put through. But like I’ve always said the truth will out and every dog has its day! We will be having a Room on the Park reunion sometime next year so we will be in touch. Now its time to enjoy……..thank you!

Very disappointed to hear rumours from people who we have known for a number of years, seems to be out of sight out of mind!

Just to put the record straight we did not owe 2 years rent on our cabin and we do not owe money on the club for rent. What sort of business owner firstly would allow you to be on a park and owe 2 years rent and again who would allow you to run a business and owe 18 months rent!

We would be interested to know again who is responsible for spreading these rumours so if anyone
Is not afraid to name names please let us know.
