One week today: Our first Afternoon Tea at The Marlborough! ⭐

Enjoy our own handcrafted sweet and savoury treats in the comfort of our 15th century pub in the heart of Dedham 🌾 This exclusive first sitting is paired with our Constable at 250 Guided Walk, an afternoon spent on a leisurely 5km walk with stops to explore and learn about the idyllic Dedham Vale and Flatford Mill with James from Man About Country 🌿 Upon your return to The Marlborough, your afternoon tea will be waiting for you with your choice of tea, coffee or something a little more bubbly if you'd prefer* 🥂

On Monday 15th June from 5pm, we’ll be hosting a special fundraising evening at The Marlborough in memory of our friend and colleague, Andy. Profits from the evening will be donated to St Helena Hospice.

We invite you all to wear a vibrant shirt with prizes for Best Dressed! There’ll also be hosting a raffle with some fantastic hampers and prizes up for grabs. Raffle tickets will be available to buy from the bar today Wednesday, 10th June.

Whether you knew Andy personally or would simply like to support a great cause, we’d love to see you there.

Join us and James Lawrence of Man About Country for an afternoon spent exploring the beautiful Essex and Suffolk countryside, learning about the landscape that inspired one of the areas most prolific painters, John Constable 🎨 The walk is followed by our brand new afternoon tea at The Marlborough, the perfect way to unwind after an afternoon walking in Dedham ⭐

We've introduced two new alcohol free aperitifs to our bar, perfect for cooling down after a long walk through Dedham 🌿

Botivo: An intensely refreshing aperitivo with a bittersweet backbone, herbal notes and a tang of citrus. A big-sipping drink hand-blended in small batches at Lannock Farm, Hertfordshire.

Mother Root: Supporting healthy digestion and using only whole ingredients, expect zingy ginger, zippy apple cider vinegar, mellow blossom honey and a lick of chilli heat.
