Church Street Tavern is the perfect place to meet friends, family or colleagues day or night. Our ground floor bar with comfy sofas serves brunch from 10.30am with snacks available throughout the day. If you need to have an afternoon meeting, we can provide tea & cakes. In the evening we serve dinner from 5.30pm until 9.30pm (10pm Fri & Sat) from

a seasonal changing menu. Come early and enjoy a great cocktail or craft beer in the bar before heading upstairs to the restaurant where you will be well looked after by a dedicated team of people.

After almost 5 years we’ll be saying goodbye in September to our fantastic Sous Chef John, who heads to a new role - we’re so pleased for him and grateful for everything he’s contributed to CST. He’ll be missed for his cool, calm head, great cooking on the busiests of services, menus for .book.club and so much more.

We’re very lucky to be able to fill his shoes with Oli, who is stepping up from his Junior Sous Chef role and will do a brilliant job supporting Ewan in the day to day running of the kitchen.

With Jack also stepping up, we have a Chef-de-Partie role to fill. If you’ve got at least 3 years of experience of cooking fresh food, send us a DM or email your CV to [email protected] - full details of the role are in the link in our bio.
