Good morning.

It’s been along time coming but as of today Wednesday 19th of May we will be opening from 4pm.

For the next phase of the scheduled easing of restrictions our opening times will be:

Wednesdays 4pm till 12am
Thursdays 12pm till 12am
(Serving food from 12pm till 3:00pm)
Fridays 12pm till 2am
(Serving food from 12pm till 3:00pm)
Saturdays 12pm till 2am
(Serving food from 12pm

If you would like to book a table please call the bar on 01206 561000 within our opening times.

After a soft opening on Saturday, we are now currently open.
Wednesday - Saturday 3pm - 10pm.

Firstly, hope you are all well and safe.
Secondly, Smiths will continue - just not yet.
Having spent much of our professional lives building a place where we can look after our staff and as many customers as possible, we will do again and for many years to come.
To open to such restricted numbers and measures - no jukebox, no singing, no dancing, no real connecting with people you didn’t come with/aren’t in your bubble, and hence having to face the horrible possibility of having to turn regulars away - some of you we’ve had the pleasure of serving for twenty five years - wouldn’t be our idea of a night out, it wouldn’t be Smiths.
Stay safe and healthy, look after yourselves and each other.
Thanks again very much for all your loyalty and enthusiasm over the many years.
We look forward to raising a glass with you again when this is all over.
