Sadly we have to say a final farewell to Dave David Palmer-Shorts today . Dave was much loved and a big part in our Brewers Arms family. He was a genuine gentleman and one of the nicest humans, who I’m proud to call my friend. He will be missed by so many , taken far too soon. Our love and respects go out to his Sister, Mother and family members 💕

I’ve been asked by David Palmer-Shorts family to post the sad news of his passing yesterday morning. A good friend who helped run the Brewers Arms when we were away on holiday. He was such a lovely man with a heart of gold, we will miss him greatly. All who knew him and would like to pay their respects are welcome by his family. Once details are released I will be informing everybody. May you RIP SPEEDO 😢

Our OLD BOY BRIAN will be 87 Tuesday 30th January, he’s now in a care home and won’t be there in person, but as we’ve celebrated his birthday in the Brewers Arms for the last 20+ years he’d like to invite his friends to enjoy a FREE drink on him. We’re meeting up from 3.30pm as the Pub is now reopened ALL WELCOME 🥳🥳🥳

This is the last post for our Brewers family page. We’ve shared good times and bad been there for each other in thick and thin. Babies made, couples wed . Ralph and I would like to thank all our staff over the years and our loyal customers for supporting us over the 20+ years we served as landlord and landlady. New tenants have now taken over and the Brewers is due to reopen soon after we had to close the doors 10th September 2022 due to COVID. We’d like to wish the new landlords all the best and good luck it will be nice to see the Pub open once again. I hope you will all give them your support and custom as you did us thank you Jane & Ralph 👍💜💙
