Get ready for Beer Day Britain 2026 🍻

Beer Day Britain, the UK’s annual national beer day happens on June 15th 2026 (and in Northern Ireland as Beer Day Northern Ireland).

Each year the focus of Beer Day Britain is the National Cheers To Beer toast at 7pm. This simple activity is not only marked across the UK but by beer drinkers around the world who participate each year. The hashtag always trends on social media.

Not everyone can get out to a pub or taproom, especially people who live in care homes, so Beer Day Britain instigator Jane Peyton encourages breweries to adopt a care home in their area and take the pub to them by donating beer so they can celebrate national beer day and join the Cheers To Beer.

Increase sales and decrease wastage by attending a one-day course, which delivers an understanding of how to handle and maintain quality of cask and keg beer from delivery to serve.

Cask Marque training courses are a mix of classroom based learning, practical assessments and interactive exercises.

The course cost is £145 + VAT per person and lunch and refreshments are also included in the course price.

Huge congratulations to Dom and Shell Roberts of The Anglesey Arms in Chichester, West Sussex, on being named Punch Pubs National Publicans of the Year 2026 🏆

Last Monday saw 200 Punch Publicans and Management Partners gather at the Support Centre to celebrate excellence across the estate, recognising the people who continue to put hospitality, quality, and community at the heart of British pubs.

Operators of the Cask Marque accredited Anglesey Arms, complete with a 5* cellar rating, Dom and Shell have built a pub that clearly means a great deal to both their local community and the wider industry.

A very well deserved recognition for two passionate publicans doing things the right way.
