Getting ready to make the Perfect Pint Promise 🍺

Cask Marque assessor Day Harvey recently joined the Food & Beverage management team at Center Parcs UK Elveden for a hands-on masterclass ahead of their Perfect Pint Promise accreditation. From keeping glassware in tip-top condition to cellar and bar best practice, the session covered the details that go into serving consistently great draught drinks, including that all-important perfect pour.

This is what happens behind the scenes to give you confidence at the bar. When you see the Perfect Pint Promise, you know the care, training and standards are in place to make sure your pint is served exactly as it should be.

Family brewers raise a glass as Donnington Brewery launches new Cotswold IPA 🍻

Donnington Brewery has unveiled its latest b**r, Cotswold IPA, a light and refreshing session IPA brewed in the heart of the Cotswolds.

The new 3.4% ABV b**r is a pale, easy-drinking b**r with a distinctive mango aroma and crisp, fruity character. Light-bodied but full of flavour, it has been created as a refreshing lower-strength IPA.

The b**r was brewed by three generations of the Arkell family at Donnington Brewery and was recently given its first taste at The Red Lion Inn in Little Compton, one of Donnington’s pubs.

Cotswold IPA is the latest addition to Donnington Brewery’s range, which is brewed at the historic brewery in Stow-on-the-Wold. Richard Arkell began brewing there in 1865, and the brewery has been owned and run by the Arkell family ever since. James Arkell, John Arkell, Oliver Arkell, Harry Arkell and Fred Arkell were all involved in the brewing process for the new b**r.

The brewery continues to produce b**r using many of the traditional methods and features of the original brewery.

The new IPA is available in keg and has been introduced across Donnington’s pubs as part of the permanent range.
