Rest in peace our beautiful Queen💔💙

The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon.

The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.

The Strood coverage is high this week. Don't forget to check the tide times for getting on and off the island before coming to Waldegraves.

Thursday 27th - 13:40 – 5.31m
Friday 28th - 14:24 – 5.26m
Saturday 29th - 15:08 – 5.12m
Sunday 30th - 15:53 – 4.89m
Monday 31st - 16:40 – 4.62m

As a guide, you will need to allow approximately 1 hour either side of high tide time when the tide height is above 4.7m. Allow an extra 30 mins if it is over 5.5m. If you see cars stopped you're best to stop and queue too! 🚗🚐🚕

If you are due to arrive over the weekend for touring or camping, please call us on 01206 382898 in the morning of your arrival day to check if your pitch will be available earlier for check in, please note this is not guaranteed. Camping and touring check in time is 3pm.

Please note, our holiday homes will not be available until the usual check in times, 3pm – Platinum and 4pm – Gold, but our onsite facilities will be open for you to use if you plan to arrive before the high tide.
