🌍Globe Closing Party 🎉🎊🍺
🗓Saturday 6th June

We are going to treat our last full trading day as a little party!
We are going to turn the music up and give you fine people some say over the tunes we blast!

We were always asked for a Juke Box, so for our last night, will let you queue a couple of songs at the bar!

Our usual offers apply, 3 shots for £9, 3 selected bottled b**rs for £10, and double up your spirit for £2.

Let's have some fun, whether you're a seasoned Glober or one of our friends from the Goat, please pop in and have a drink with us!

It is with the heaviest hearts we are announcing our departure from The Globe, and the wonderful village of Codicote.

Our last trading day will be Saturday 6th June, between 1200 - 2300(ish), depending on trade. We would love to invite the village down to say goodbye over a pint or two 🍻

We have been blessed to have been part of the village's businesses and community since November 2025, and appreciate the warm welcome and support afforded to us by everyone; It has been a pleasure to meet with, drink with, and laugh with you.

We had intention to stay for the long-term and make The Globe the second pub the village deserves, unfortunately powers that be have made it impossible. We hope you understand that whilst the support from the village has been nothing short of amazing, support from elsewhere has not always been the same.

Whoever, and whatever is next for The Globe, we hope the brewery follow through with their promise to refurbish the pub, as McMullan's promised before that, and make it a more refreshed space to enjoy a pint! 🍺

From Michael, Bez, Jessica (& bump), Thank you for your support, your custom, your kindness, and your friendship.

Once more, our final trading Day is Saturday 6th June, please pop in for a drink and to say goodbye 🙏
Any stragglers can see us on Sunday, but there might not be any booze left!

P.s The Plume of Feathers in Little Wymondly is beautiful this time of year 😉

🎸 LIVE MUSIC AT THE GLOBE 🎸

The Dirty Riffs are bringing the rock to Codicote with a live set in our b**r garden! 🍻

If the weather behaves itself; warm, sunny, but not the heat that melts your pint before you’ve sat down, we’ll be outside enjoying great music, cold drinks, and proper pub atmosphere ☀️🍺

Expect classic rock tunes, good vibes, and at least one person confidently singing lyrics they definitely don’t know.
So grab your mates, grab a drink, and join us for an evening of live music with The Dirty Riffs at the Globe 🤘

Because nothing says British summer quite like standing in a b**r garden saying: “Actually… this temperature is perfect.” 😂
