It is with great sadness that I have to let you all know that our President Phil Usherwood sadly died last week. Phil was a big part of the league for many years He was Captain of one of the Newtown Linford teams and before becoming president he was the chairman. Always a cheeky smile on his face and a kind word for all. I’m sure you’ll all join me in sending our condolences to his family and friends. RIP . ###

Due to the recent government advice the Coalville Pool League will be suspended from this Thursday onwards. Singles matches may still be played tomorrow. We ask that there are no handshakes before or after the game and that where possible there are no spectators present. Hopefully this will be a short term measure and we will be back to normal asap.
