It's a long one but a good one, stick with us. When we received this message from Joe we couldn't help but share. This is what it's all about 🍻

"Hello, I attended a wedding yesterday and for obvious reasons I was at the bar ordering some drinks for family members and out of the corner of my eye I spotted a can of your Bowland black gluten free stout, as someone who is both gluten and dairy free due to medical reasons I've missed a certain famous black stout for around 10 years now, so I've looked for a decent substitute. So when I saw your offering I ordered, reluctantly hoping for something palatable. WOW was I in for a shock, your drink was so good I must've looked like a loon. I was telling everyone who'd listen about my find, I need to congratulate you and tell you to keep up the excellent work you're doing in the field of gluten free b**rs. I really cannot express to you what drinking a superb dark stout means to me. I live in Preston and to find out you're only up the road in Clitheroe is even better. I know I've rambled a bit but I just wanted you to know that you're doing very good work in the world of gluten free and your efforts are appreciated and I'm currently spreading the word amongst the gluten free world. So thanks for bringing a little happiness to a usually grumpy, gluten neglected man. All the best. Cheers. Joe."

The countdown is on! This Saturday 29th August, 9am–3:30pm, we’re joining the Accrington Soapbox Challenge in Accrington Town Centre for a day of wild rides, wacky creations and plenty of family-friendly fun.

Expect adrenaline-fuelled racing, spectacular soapbox designs and a whole lot of cheering from the sidelines. And, of course, we’ll be serving up refreshing Bowland Brewery b**rs while you take in the action 🍺
