Important Notice for Tonight

We will be closed to the general public this evening and tonight’s quiz is cancelled as we are hosting a Celebration of Life for one of our much-loved regulars, John Duckworth.

John was a big part of our place and will be deeply missed by staff and customers alike.
Anyone who knew John, shared a drink with him, or would like to pay their respects is very welcome to join his family and friends from 6pm.

Thank you for your understanding as we take this time to remember and celebrate a true character 🤍

We’ve now got tickets available for Drop The Floor – St Patrick’s Night 🍀
Celebrating their 10th anniversary, this one’s going to be a big night at the bar!

👉 Grab your tickets whilst you can. £15 each.

We are open Thursdays from 6.30pm, Fridays from 3pm and all day Saturday and Sunday if you’re passing…🚶🏼‍♂️

🎸 We’ve also got tickets on sale behind the bar for our April event with Steely Don returning to The Old School Rooms — another cracking night lined up!

🎄✨Christmas & New Year Opening Hours at The Old School Rooms✨🎄

The festive season is upon us with Christmas Day just over 12 hours away and we've got some different opening hours lined up so you can plan those Christmas catch-ups with friends and family properly 🥂

We'll be taking the first weekend of January off to rest, reset, thank the staff for all their hard work with a party, and get prepared for something exciting coming your way in early 2026.

Don't forget we still have a few events coming up before the year is out:
1️⃣ Post Christmas Party - 27th Dec, 8pm- late
2️⃣ Big Fat End of the Year quiz - 28th Dec, 8pm start - tables are limited so get here promptly!
3️⃣ Big Christmas Quiz - 29th Dec, 7.30pm start. Unfortunately now sold out so well done if you got your tickets!
4️⃣ New Years Eve Soul - 31st Dec, 8pm start. A few tickets remaining - £10 each. No admission without a ticket
