🎉 It's nearly time for Britain’s premier cycling event as The Tour Of Britain Women's race comes to Ribble Valley on Thursday 20 August.

Starting in Clitheroe, riders will face a 110.5km race to the finish line along Blackpool’s famous promenade, passing through Forest of Bowland National Landscape, Longridge, and Lytham St. Annes.

A total of 114 riders representing 19 teams are due to start at the 2026 edition of the Lloyds Tour of Britain Women, with plenty of world-class riders and British superstars for crowds to watch.

Current champion Ally Wollaston (FDJ United-SUEZ) will be back looking to retain her title. She is joined by former champion Lotte Kopecky (SD Worx – Protime), and former stage winners Lorena Wiebes (SD Worx – Protime) and Kim Le Court Pienaar (AG Insurance – Soudal Team). Five-time Commonwealth gold medallist Georgia Baker (Liv AlUla Jayco) will also be competing after a successful Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

British fans can look forward to seeing national road race champion Zoe Backstedt (Canyon // SRAM) racing back on British soil once again. The Brit will be a favourite heading into the race after a strong season so far, including a stage win in the Tour de Suisse. She will be joined by former national road race champions Millie Couzens (Fenix-Premier Tech), Pfeiffer Georgi (Team Picnic PostNL), and Alice Towers (Great Britain Cycling Team).

Towers is joined in the Great Britain Cycling Team by Commonwealth Games medallists Anna Morris and Jess Roberts, who will be looking for more Welsh success on home roads. Youngsters Amalie Cooper, Rebecca Gardiner, and Ruby Oakes, complete the lineup.

The entirety of the 2026 Lloyds Tour of Britain Women will be available via live coverage on TNT Sports. ITV4 and ITVX will also stream daily highlights of the race, providing free-to-air coverage of Britain’s biggest cycling event for viewers across the country.
