Champions!
The Millers have today confirmed their place as champions of the United Counties Football League division One.
Congratulations to the playing staff, our manager, Ryan Smith, Chairman, Lee Watson, Vice-Chair, Lee Bagshaw and multi-tasking, Aaron Parkin. The staff who have worked tirelessly in the The Cross Bar the Tunnel Cafe and behind the scenes all season, especially our rock, Desree Watson.
You the supporters who followed us throughout and accepted the enforced change of venue to Shirebrook.
It’s been a season of great cup runs and a race to the wire in the division with several clubs especially Retford FC.
It’s not yet a year since Ryan introduced his vision and he’s achieved it with dignity and respect along the way.
I’m sure everyone will be excited about life at Step5 next season for another challenge and more friends to make along the way.
Finally, good luck to the clubs in the play-off games and thanks to the remainder of the clubs for your kind hospitality on our journeys this campaign.

First of all we’d like to wish you all a great Easter Weekend and then offer you the opportunity to witness another MASSIVE game in this exciting season. The maths are simple; win and we’re champions, a draw and it could be goal difference that decides it, lose and it’s down to other results on Monday. We’d therefore love to see you all down on Saturday afternoon to help us get it over the line. Fourth placed, Blackstones Football Club are the opponents so it’ll be a tough game without question so please help us by filling the ground with your brilliant support.
The The Cross Bar is open for drinks and the Tunnel Cafe for some great food. KO 3pm. Admission £6. Concessions £4. Accompanied U16 Free. Dogs are welcome too of course so please share the hell out of this post, tag a friend to meet you at the game and perhaps you might just witness the Millers confirm their place at Step5 next season.

Spread the word the FA Vase Fourth Round takes place this SATURDAY.
We’re up against Step5 Whitchurch Alport FC at Mill Lane’s We Do More Than Print Ground. It’s the biggest game EVER played in the district of Clay Cross and we’d like you to witness every minute of this stage of our journey to Wembley Stadium connected by EE in May.

On this Christmas Eve i’d like to thank those supporters that always ‘come and be faithful’, our top players, the background staff Ann King Vena Shaw Tammy Louise Harvey and management team who have now all made it the club we have today. Thanks also to those who also took us through the difficult times at the start of 2024, it’ll never be forgotten and you know who you are. Have a great one everybody.
