Darren and Marisa, the amazing couple behind have decided to hang up their aprons and head on to their next adventure together.

If you didn't know, they recently moved to the lovely East Anglian coast where a more relaxed life with evenings and weekends free beckons.

We are going to really miss them as they are such great people... and make the tastiest pizza, too!

This Saturday, a change to our food offering... Hong Kong HitWrap have car trouble and can't get to the brewery.... but that's no problem!

The weather is amazing, we have lovely outdoor seating... so we will be putting on a Summer Picnic buffet! 🙌🌞😍

Three kinds of cured meats and cheeses, plus scrumptious pork pies
Served with a lovely selection of pickles, fruit, and chutney with generous chunks of farmhouse bread and butter.
Finished off with strawberries and lashings of cream.
Perfect!

Daddy Bear is now available on tap AND in bottles! 🍯🐻

Brewed for the Cambridge Beer Festival 2026... we've cracked open a cask at the Tap Room for your enjoyment. At 8.4%, there are also bottles to take home, too. 🙌 🍻

It's a premium pale ale brewed with crystal malts, spicy hops, and lots of local honey.

If you like your beer of the robust sort... we also have a fresh batch of Vulcan DIPA 7.4 % on tap and in bottle. Bursting with a cacophony of hops... it's a beast of a beer!

It's day one of the fantastic Cambridge Beer Festival today! This year's festival theme is Winnie-the-Pooh as it's 100 years since the first Pooh publication. So.... we have two ales on this year... The Hawker, our easy drinking Suffolk Porter at 4.8% and, at the opposite end of the ale spectrum, our special and exclusive festival beer 'Daddy Bear', a honey pale ale coming in at an impressive 8.4% ABV. Rich, aromatic, plenty of honey notes and not recommended for piglets. 😁 ...seen here sporting an appropriate T-Shirt is our man on the ground Andrew enjoying, I would imagine, the very first pint of Daddy Bear! Have fun folks and cheers! 🍻
