Well that's a wrap on the weekend and we are finally back and squared away. We had the privilege of providing the bar at Chawleigh Fair and loved every minute! Lots of hard work before, during and after the event but we'd definitely do it all over again. It was a shame about the weather but still well attended. Thank you to all who came and to those who helped make the day happen for us ( Steve Godly Stuart Gibson Sam Easton Maddy Godly Cate Godly Anne Cadle Richard Wilmott ), your help is very much appreciated. A fantastic day all round, perfectly run events and a village generously pulling together. Everyone involved should be truly proud of their efforts ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ…

Just a polite reminder that we will be providing the Chawleigh Fair bar tomorrow and, as such, we will be closed at the pub during our normal hours. We will, of course, be open for the march in the morning and again once the field bar closes (aiming to open around 21:30). Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. We will be open for roast dinner as usual on Sunday. Tables are going fast so be sure to book in with us if you plan on coming over. ,Many thanks, Ian & Justine

Final reminder of our upcoming Euro Quiz. Tables are starting to fill fast so bookings are recommended. To keep in with the Euro vibe, our specials for the evening will be Italian Mint, Pea & Prosecco risotto (add prawns or chicken if you wish), Spanish Seafood Paella and our English staple of Fish, Chips and Peas available for just ยฃ12. Pre-bookings only please, before 18:00 on Thursday 14th so that we can ensure we have enough for everyone and minimise wastage. Orders from our normal menu are fine, but again, if these can be pre-ordered, it will help the night run smoothly. Food will be available between 17:30 and 19:00 on the night, to avoid disruption to the quiz. Many thanks for your help with this, and we look forward to seeing you there!

Polite reminder of our upcoming quiz this weekend to raise funds for Chawleigh Playing Field. Specials for the evening will be Sausage & Mash or Scampi & Chips for just ยฃ10! This will be available by pre-booking only (to ensure we have enough for everyone) by Friday 12:00 please. Food will be served between 18:00 and 19:15 to avoid disruption to the quiz and will be available during the break at approximately 20:30. Many thanks for your understanding and support.
