The Phoenix is a beautiful gastropub set in the heart of Chudleigh. A family run establishment with excellent customer service and a mouth-watering menu to tantalize your taste buds. Our modern British menu has guests returning time after time, using only locally sourced and fresh ingredients everything is cooked to order.

Tuesday 4pm -10pm (food served 5-8pm)
Wednesday - Saturday 9am-10pm (food served 9am-2pm then 5.30-8.30pm)
Sunday 9am-3pm( food served 9am-11am then 12-2pm)

Sorry to all those that I have had to let down , I am so gutted .
This is extremely tough for all of the team at Phoenix.
We just wanted the kitchen working again.

We may not be able to cook on gas right now , but at least Ian has been able to finish these beauties .

With technical issues still hanging over the Phoenix Kitchen, we have made a decision to close Tuesday night .
Wednesday we will open 9am-4pm for a limited breakfast and lunch menu , and of course serving coffee & cake as normal . Unfortunately we cannot run Wednesday nights service .
We really hope the engineers will have us up and running properly again on Thursday , but frustratingly ,this is out of our hands .

Unfortunately the kitchen at Phoenix has had to close , as our extractor fan system has completely broken down , and this switches off the interlock system for the whole kitchen . All tables are being cancelled for today , and we are so sorry about that .
So sorry to all the customers that had to be cancelled last night aswell.
We are on the case , and will hope to have it up and running on Wednesday .
We are completely gutted , but it’s out of our control
