EDIT: The power is back on! No more warm pints and the kitchen is open until 6 🤩

We are experiencing a power cut in Abbey Village at the moment, we can serve drinks currently but the kitchen has no power.
We will update as soon as we know more!

We are deeply saddened to hear of Wayne’s passing. Wayne and Tracy were the former landlord and landlady of The Hare and Hounds, and we’re sure many local people will have fond memories of them both over the years.

Wayne’s funeral will take place on Tuesday 25th August. The hearse will arrive at The Hare and Hounds, Abbey Village, at 1:15pm, where family and friends can pay their respects until 2:00pm, before travelling to Charnock Richard Crematorium for the service at 2:30pm. Afterwards, everyone is invited back to The Hare and Hounds to raise a toast to Wayne’s memory.

Our heartfelt condolences go to Tracy, their family, and all who knew and loved Wayne. Rest in peace, Wayne. 💙

Due to a special 30th Birthday Celebration 🤠🎈, our kitchen will be closing from 3:00pm today to allow us time to prepare for the party. Yeehaw! 🥳
