I'd like to just take this opportunity to thank everyone who's used the farmers for food or drink. Its a hard trade with lots of choice out there now but since last December we've had our busiest year since pre covid.
As much as this is my pub, I pay the bills make the decision, run the business ect I couldn't do it without good staff who dont just treat it as a job they care, and I've always said customers make pubs as much as the landlady.
We dont try to be anything we're not We work hard and serve good beer and freshly homemade food every single day.
The new menus are going so well.
The farmers will always be here with or without me, I know that but seeing people meet for a chat, having people want to celebrate birthdays or holding a funeral is a lovely feeling they've chosen us.
We've absolutely no plans of going anywhere for the foreseeable, we've been here over 13 years and that deserves massive credit to us and as long as you want us here we'll be here. If you dont see me as much please dont think I'm not as committed as always, I am i'll be just working out how to continue to adapt to making sure its the pub you want.
