Northern Noise Soul Club old venue Northern Noise is a Soul venue that plays music from across the board. A great dance floor and a top sound system to please any DJ’s quality vinyl.

Northern Noise Soul Club is based at St. Mary’s Club and Function Room, West Street , off Devonshire Road, Chorley , PR7 2SJ the first Sunday of every month. St Mary’s is situated an 8 minute walk ( 500 metres) from Chorley bus and train stations and 5 minutes from Junction 8 of the M61 motorway. There is also a Premier Inn and a Travelodge hotel within 1.6 miles which some of our long distance t

ravellers have used to finish off a great Lancashire Soul weekend after a Saturday night at one of many venues in Lancashire and finished off with us at Northern Noise. Originally at St. Bede’s club in Clayton le Woods , Leyland at the Priory Club and our last venue St Joseph’s .Our new home at St Mary’s is a perfect venue for Northern Soul having a brilliant wooden dance floor, seating around the outside and lighting which we turn down real low to create an authentic Northern Soul ambience. Our new St Mary’s venue is close to the town centre cafes and restaurants , where you can enjoy a meal before or after the club .The new venue is easily accessed by rail or bus , and is on the West Street car park where there is ample free parking on Sundays . Currently we have four regular dj’s, Janet Disley , Derek Smith , Lynne Dyson and Burt Harrison ; and each month we invite two guest dj’s to keep the music fresh and varied. We don’t have a fixed music policy and across the board . We regularly attract people from Chorley, Blackburn, Preston, Wigan, Bolton, Burnley, St. Helens, Warrington, Southport and Manchester as well as our soul brothers and sisters from Yorkshire, North Wales , the Midlands and Scotland. We celebrated our 7th anniversary as Northern Noise this year and we would love to see you soon . Keep The Faith - The Northern Noise Team.

The Monaco is back
Had a meeting with John (the manager) today regarding Our Soul nights and we’re back on Saturday 30th May 8pm to 2am. Contrary to popular belief the dance floor is still as good as ever and there are no holes in it lol. The only differences are the seating arrangement it’s now benches rather than chairs, The stage as been lowered by 18 inches so it’s more accessible and the new sound system is superb with video screens behind the Dj’s with videos of Wigan, Mecca and if Anyone as still got one the Monaco dancers in the 90s ?.
We are planning to do 3/4 a year with one of them being a all dayer like the one in 2019 with the best of the Scottish,Welsh dj’s and guests from the English soul scene.
The dates booked for this year are
Sat 30th may 8pm 2am
Sat 29th aug 8pm 2am
Sat 7th. nov 2pm 2am
On our first night we have the Monaco crew of Andy McCabe,Dean Mitchell,Mr P and myself then 2 brilliant guest dj’s both making welcome returns to the Monaco decks are Mr Jimmy Randall and Mr Pete Eccles both with fantastic tunes and both know how to fill the dance floor.

OCTOBER SOUL EVENT WHICH IS OUR YEARLY DERIAN HOUSE CHARITY DAYER 5PM TO 12.30AM WITH JOHNNY BOY SINGING LIVE. WE ARE USING THE POPLAR CLUB, WELLINGTON STREET, ACCRINGTON, BB5-2NJ, IT'S ABOUT 800 YARDS AWAY FROM OUR NORMAL CLUB, IT'S FULLY AIRCONDITIONED WITH A MASSIVE DANCE FLOOR, THE CLUB HAS JUST HAD A £250,000 REFIT SO IS FANTASTIC, THERE IS FREE PARKING ON THE CLUBS CARPARK, DISABLED FACILITIES ON SITE.
WE HAVE AN INCREDIBLE LINE UP OF D.JS PLEASE SEE FLYER BELOW, YOU’LL NOT SEE A BETTER LINE UP ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY ON THE DAY.
ANY RAFFLE PRIZES WILL BE VERY WELCOME AND LETS HOPE WE CAN RAISE AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE FOR THIS FABULOUS CHILDREN’S HOSPICE DERIAN HOUSE.
