Unfortunately, Sheps was broken into again last night.
Thankfully, the police got there in time and the guy was arrested before he managed to get away with anything. Unfortunately though, he’s still caused us a lot of damage, leaving us with another set of repair bills that we could really do without.
This is the second time in just 10 weeks that this has happened to Sheps. As much as we love our big windows and all the quirky features that make Sheps what it is, having four doors around the outside of the building and large windows does seem to make us an easy target for people who think this sort of behaviour is acceptable.
Many of you will probably have already seen posts in local Chorley groups this week about the guy who did it, as he’s apparently been targeting other properties too.
We love Chorley and we love Sheps, but it’s pretty disheartening when the profits from our staff’s hard work end up being spent fixing damage caused by idiots instead of investing back into the business and our team.
The good news is we’re OPEN as normal today. Our window is currently boarded up, but we’re here and ready for another day.
A massive thank you to our amazing staff, the police, and everyone who came down during the night to help get things sorted so we could open as usual today. The support we’ve had has been incredible again, and we’re really grateful for it ❤️x
