A little change of plan

We've had to make the difficult decision to push back our grand opening by one week.

Shepherds Hall Ale House & Victoria Rooms will now open its doors on Saturday 7th November, rather than Saturday 31st October.

We're sorry to keep you waiting a little longer, but we want everything to be just right when we welcome you back.

Great cask ale, quality cocktails, w**e and wh**ky, brand new food from Estebans At Hopworks and live music from Smoke Stack Revival.

All worth the wait, we promise.

See you on the 7th! 📍 63–67 Chapel Street, Chorley

Open from midday

22/10/2026

Awesome to have cask ale back in the cellar , deliveries have started !!!

We are still looking for people to join our team , if you are full of personality, passionate about great service and ready to get cracking then drop us a message

06/10/2026

Live performers, bands , comedians please hit us up. I know some of you have already, big thanks

DMs with demos , pricing , availability etc would be epic.

When the right people mix with the right music there is no better place than Saturday night at The Sheps
We are looking for performers to bring the party , get people dancing and have a superb night .

A LITTLE CHANGE. A BIG BENEFIT.

We’ve made a small change to Line 1 — and it’s all about keeping your pint great value.

I drank every b**r I sold between 2018 and 2024, so I know how much variety matters. But constantly changing b**rs when they sell out means we’re constantly buying smaller quantities at higher prices.

And ultimately, those higher costs have to go somewhere. To you.

So we’re doing things differently.

Rather than buying four different ales every week and paying top price for each, we’re putting our buying power behind one b**r we know delivers.

Vocation Bread & Butter — 3.9%

Dry-hopped. Crisp. Citrussy. Piney. Properly easy drinking.

By sticking with it, we can buy more, get a better price and keep the price of your pint as keen as possible.

So from now on:

LINE 1 = VOCATION BREAD & BUTTER
