We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you! We’ve been blown away by all your kind messages and support 🩷

While we’ve been busy getting stuck into the refurb (and making quite a mess in the process) we’ve come across a few hidden gems from the past…

📸 We’ve found these old photos tucked away - one looks like it could be from the 70s and another from what we think might be the 90s.

Now we’re curious, does anyone recognise the people in these? Could this be a former landlady or some familiar faces from years gone by?

We’d love to know more about the history of the pub and the memories made here, so if you recognise anyone or have any stories to share then please let us know!

We can’t wait to bring this place back to life and make it somewhere full of great memories again.

We’re excited to introduce ourselves as the new owners here at The Black Horse at Limbrick 🐴

We’ve recently taken over this beautiful, historic pub and are currently working hard to give it a full refurb, with plans to reopen in July. We can’t wait to bring it back to life and make it a place the whole community can enjoy.

Our focus will be on proper, high-quality home cooked food, led by Shane - who has trained at Michelin star and Rosette awarded establishments and is now passionate about creating great British gastro pub dishes done right.

As a free house, we’ll be offering a wide selection of beers, ales and drinks - so there’s something for everyone.

We’ll be sharing regular updates on our progress here on this page, so make sure to follow along and see the transformation as it happens.

We’re really looking forward to meeting you all, becoming part of the community and hearing your ideas and suggestions for what you’d love to see at The Black Horse.

Some really exciting times ahead!! We can’t wait to welcome you through the doors soon!
