🍂 What’s on this Autumn at The Dog & Pickle 🍂

Autumn is well underway and we’ve got loads coming up — new menus, roasts, supper clubs, Halloween, fireworks and then Christmas.

Our new Autumn menus are now live, and due to popular demand we’re now serving roasts every day we’re open.

Our Set Roast Menu is 3 courses for £25:

Thursday & Friday — 12pm–8.30pm
Saturday — 12pm–2.30pm

Can’t get booked on a Sunday? Come and try our midweek roast menu instead.

🍣 Friday 2nd October — Japanese Supper Club
4-course tasting menu £49.50, vegetarian menu available, plus cocktail and wine pairings.

🎃 Saturday 31st October — Little Pickles Halloween Brunch
From 11am
Kids £25 | Adults £35
Spooky menus, face painting, magician and balloon animals.

🕸️ Saturday 31st October — Halloween Ball
Adults only
Early sit £35 from 5.45pm
Later sit £45 from 8pm
Sharing feast, welcome drink, raffle prizes, DJ till late and fancy dress welcome.

🎆 Wednesday 4th November — Annual Fireworks Display
Adults £25 including cheeseburger & chips
Under 12s £10 including kids burger & chips
Under 3s FREE

Plus live music, face painting, doughnut stand and the garden bar & kitchen open from 5pm. Vegan and GF burgers also available.

And our Christmas bookings are now live too with festive menus, Meet Santa and all our Christmas & New Year events.

From Thursday onwards, our Set Roast Menu is available with 3 courses for £25

Can’t get booked in on a Sunday? No problem. Try our 2-2-2 Set Roast Menu instead — 2 starters, 2 mains and 2 desserts to choose from, with the dishes changing regularly through the season.

Available:

Thursday & Friday — 12pm–8.30pm
Saturday — 12pm–2.30pm

And of course, our full Sunday roast service continues as usual serving 4 sittings until 10pm

What’s on this Autumn at The Dog & Pickle 🍂

We’ve got a really exciting few months ahead at the pub, and we wanted to put everything in one place so you can get the dates in the diary.

Our new Autumn menus launch Thursday 17th September, and this year we’ll be serving roasts every day.

Alongside the new à la carte dishes, we’re introducing our special Set Roast Menu — 3 courses for £25, available Thursday & Friday 12pm–8pm and Saturday 12pm–2.30pm. We’ll also be changing the set roast dishes regularly throughout the season.

Then we’ve got plenty more coming up…

Friday 2nd October — Supper Club
Our 4-course Japanese tasting menu, £49.50 per person, with vegetarian options and some very special upgrades available.

Saturday 31st October — Little Pickles Halloween Brunch
From 11am, with 2 hours on your table.
Kids £25 | Adults £35
Spooky food, face painting, a magician, balloon animals and plenty of Halloween fun for the whole family.

Saturday 31st October — Adults Only Halloween Ball
Early sitting £35 from 5.45pm
Later sitting £45 from 8pm
Halloween sharing feast, welcome drink, charity raffle, DJ until late and fancy dress very much encouraged.

Wednesday 4th November — Annual Fireworks Display
Tickets £25 including cheeseburger & chips, plus live music, face painting, doughnut stand and the garden bar & kitchen open from 5pm.

And of course, Christmas bookings are now live too, including our festive menus, Meet Santa and all of our Christmas & New Year celebrations.

There’s a lot happening, but this is exactly the time of year we love most — cosy roasts, autumn evenings, parties, fireworks and then straight into Christmas.

60,000 followers. Quite unbelievable, really.

When we opened The Dog & Pickle five years ago in May, we had no idea where this journey would take us. What started as a huge leap of faith has grown into something we are incredibly proud of, and that is entirely thanks to the people who have supported us along the way.

To every guest who has walked through our doors, returned time and time again, celebrated special occasions with us, recommended us to friends, shared our posts, left kind reviews or simply followed our journey — thank you.

Running an independent family business comes with plenty of highs, lows, long days and sleepless nights, but moments like this make us stop and realise just how fortunate we are.

The Dog & Pickle has become so much more than a restaurant to us. It is our family, our team, our community and five years of memories that we will always be incredibly proud of.

Reaching 60,000 followers is a milestone we never imagined when we first started, and we are genuinely so grateful to every single one of you for being part of it.

Here’s to the next chapter.
