It was a very enjoyable Spring walk today from Slindon taking in bluebells (Nore Wood) and lots of lambs in the fields between Gumber Farm and Slindon.

We finished with a pint at the fabulous George at Eartham.

Next walk May 10th

Our March walk was a very pleasant 5 35 miles from the Old House At Home, Chidham which took us out to the edge of Chichester Harbour and then around to the other side via Cobnor Point. A pint of TEA was the prize for me at the end.

Next walk Sunday April 12th.

Our March walk is a variation on our very first walk. Meet 10.00.am March 8th at the Old House At Home, Chidham.

A great turnout for our January walk in near freezing temperatures starting at the birthplace of cricket. The pub wouldn't let us park so we enjoyed the Red Lion, Chalton for our after walk refreshments.

Our next walk is February 8th.

Our final walk of 2025 turned out very wet. We had a few last-minute withdrawals (I can't imagine why) but they missed out on two welcoming pubs and a trig point ! The 6 miles was a bit of a slog. Here’s hoping we kick off 2026 with a drier walk on January 4th.

Merry Christmas to all our walkers.

We will be meeting next Sunday (7th) for our Christmas walk. The start (10.00.am) and end point is The White Hart. The walk will take us into Arundel Park before taking us into the Arundel, Whiteways, Fontwell triangle. A stop near the end at the King's Arms before ending with a pint of Harvey's Old Ale at the White Hart. What could be better?
