Happy 25 Years with B&P, Sam! 🍾

This week we’re celebrating an incredible milestone as our amazing boss lady, Sam, marks 25 years with the company!

Sam first wandered through the doors of the Armoury all those years ago looking for some casual work. Before long, she swapped her role with the National Trust to join us full time – much to our delight (and perhaps to the detriment of our national heritage!)

She was Deputy Manager at The Fox from the day we opened before taking the reins as General Manager in September 2007 👸

Sam truly is the heart and soul of The Fox. Her passion, dedication and infectious personality make it a fantastic place to work and visit, and we’re so grateful for everything she does.

Today we say goodbye to one of our own and truly one of the very best 😢

Our Deputy Manager, Sam, is taking the next step in his journey and moving over to our sister pub, the Oakley Arms, where he’ll be stepping into the role of General Manager. Everyone here at the Fox couldn’t be prouder or happier for him as he begins this exciting new chapter.

Sam’s cockney charm, great energy, and the presence he brings every day will be missed by us all. We’re incredibly proud of everything you’ve achieved, Sam, and we can’t wait to see you continue to shine in your new role.
