Here at The Three Horseshoes, we just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone for an incredible year and five months (yes… we counted, and no, we still can’t believe you’ve all put up with us that long 😄).

First, to our amazing staff:
Lea – for being the one everyone moans at… but let’s be honest, if she wasn’t here, we’d have shut weeks ago!
Tj – thank you for being there from the very start and for being such a fantastic worker… we’re still trying to figure out how you haven’t run off yet.
Conrad – for always being brilliant on shift and making it look easy (it’s definitely not).
Josh – for always putting your best foot forward and somehow surviving the chaos… especially on Fridays!

Now onto the live music – we’ve loved every single one of you (even when the neighbours might not have 😅):
Firecracker Veda, Rouge, Uncle Salty, Danny, and Mad About Mandy – you’ve absolutely smashed it every time.

And we can’t forget the DJs:
DJ Phillip, DJ Warren, and the DJ Packers – thank you for keeping the tunes going and the dancefloor… well, interesting!

Last, but most importantly, thank you to all of you – our customers, friends, football team, and pool team. Whether you came for one drink and stayed for five, or said “just a quick one” and closed the place with us… you’ve made this pub what it is.

And finally, Matt and Bren – where do we start? You’ve been there from the beginning and you definitely made an impact on not only on the village but on every person that walked into the pub, you helped make the pub what it is, a home for everyone. Who knows where we’d be if it wasn’t for your hard work and dedication so thank you for everything

On a positive note, things are finally heading in the right direction, and the pub is getting the love and care it deserves from the company that owns it (about time, right?!).

Here’s to more good times, great people, and only slightly questionable decisions 🍻

It’s with the deepest sadness that we announce the closing of the Three Horseshoes on the 7th May 2026

Over the past year and five months, we’ve shared some amazing moments — a few we’ll never forget… and a few we probably should

We’re incredibly proud to say we played a part in saving the pub from being knocked down, keeping its doors open and the good times flowing for a while longer.

Thank you to everyone who’s supported us, laughed with us, and kept the bar busy.

But don’t worry — this isn’t the end of the story. While it’s goodbye from Matt, Lea and the team, it won’t be goodbye forever. The pub will be undergoing a massive refit and will be back with a fresh look and new management.

So don’t stray too far — we’re just hitting pause, not last orders.
