It's our usual Thursday Night Quiz tonight from 8.30pm 😊😊😊

However we will not be playing Sticky 13 as we are going to roll it over to next Thursday for Rory's last quiz night with the JACKPOT starting at £600.... It must be won next Thursday 🥳🥳

Also next Thursday we will be playing Irish Bingo and Higher or Lower 😊

So Sunday 7th June will be my last day as the Landlord of this fantastic pub.

Nearly two years at the helm has flown by. 😃

We have been together for births, deaths, marriages, Christmas and New Year and I've loved every minute (well nearly) of it.

It's a great pub with the Quiz Night with Ellie Fox, live music nights with some terrific bands such as the-x-presidents, Groundhog Days, The Legendary Stumble Brothers and Pint of Mild. The darts teams, with 2 league trophies in the cabinet.🎯 Both seasons going unbeaten 😀

A pub is where you make friends, and find the one... we make memories, laugh and cry together, give the banter (some more than others) but at the heart of it the Blue Stoops is a community.

When I did my charity boxing last year we raised over £3000. Yes, before you say it, it was money well spent to see me get hit. 👊

I would like to thank Richard Morgan for all his hard work and support over the years, not just at the Stoops but the pubs we had before. A true gentleman and friend.

The staff here have been amazing and so supportive of what I've tried to do and achieve, most of them love this pub nearly as much as I do. They will be part of the future and will try to make sure the pub continues to be the best it can.

But the biggest thanks goes to the customers, who over the last two years have supported the Stoops and helped increase its popularity and customer base.

So only 11 days to go until you can say

'thank f& he's gone'
