Last night, after the Quartet performance, a ring was found on the floor near seating and handed into the bar. If you have lost a ring, please pop in during our opening hours (Thur-Mon, 7pm) to collect - you will need to describe what the ring looks like before we can hand it over. Thank you!

We are looking forward to hosting Embers Theatre Company as they bring to life "Quartet" the last Tuesday & Wednesday of July.

Here's some information about the characters, why not come along for a different night out and see these characters before your very eyes!

Retired Baritone Opera singer Wilfred is a former member of a world-famous operatic quartet alongside Reginald Paget, Cecily Robson, and Jean Horton.
Wilfred is an energetic man of advanced years who refuses to let old age dim his spark.
A shameless, cheerful flirt, he frequently targets the female staff, residents, and fellow musicians with filterless, outrageous, and ribald jokes.
Beneath his boisterous, priapic, and joke-cracking exterior lies a deeply emotional and compassionate man. He uses his humour as a shield against the creeping melancholy, vulnerability, and physical decay that comes with aging.
Mirroring the opera characters the group used to play, Wilfred captures the essence of Rigoletto's court jester—using humor to deflect tragedy and bring levity to bleak situations.
