From https://www.facebook.com/david.mcphie.921: An idea from former Queens Park Hotel resident folk singer Roger Buck, who also ran the Folk Club there (see his article in my book ‘Sounds in the Shadow of the Crooked Spire’) ..
Does anyone have any influence re the placing of these plaques in culturally notable places in the town ?
Also occasionally mentioned for a plaque is the site of my recording of Joe Cocker’s demo that obtained him his recording contract with Regal Zonophone; the present property currently housing Palfreyman’s Music Shop on the corner of Chatsworth Road and School Board Lane ..
