The application form to play as a part of this year's Bandstand programme is now available!

Please have a look at the updated information and fill this in if you would like to perform.

The programme is produced to showcase a range of different music and other creativity - completing the form doesn't guarantee a slot.

Please remember that access to mains electricity isn't possible at the Bandstand, but a small amp and chairs are available nearby. The Bandstand is a gorgeous venue in The Groves, and has been well suited in recent years to live music but also works well for small scale theatre, poetry, dance and visual art.

Exciting news:
Sunday (11/5) at the Bandstand from 11.30am:

Dee Sign Choir return for their annual performance at Chester’s most beautiful venue!

Please get down and support them and you may learn some BSL while they sign as part of their performance. Always a pleasure to have them!

Not so exciting news:
There is a small bit of damage to the Bandstand which will require some repair. Hopefully this won’t take too long, and dates can be confirmed for everyone that’s applied to perform. Thanks for your patience in the meantime and fingers crossed it’s sorted soon!

It's that time again...

The Bandstand programme is now open for applications from musicians and other creatives for this year's programme.

Last year featured an amazing array of music, dance, theatre, poetry, art and photography, so please apply if you have a performance or something creative that would work at this very special venue!

The events take place almost every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from May to September (with the exception of Chester Race Days, Deva Triathlon and the Raft Race).

Norwegian marching band Strinda Ungdomskorps wrap up proceedings for the summer
