The countdown is on, and we can't wait to share our fantastic new menu with you!

Packed with delicious seasonal dishes and exciting new additions, there's plenty to look forward to as we head into the months ahead. Whether you're a fan of comforting pub classics or love trying something new, we've got something for everyone. 🍽️😍

Among the new arrivals are our beautifully prepared Roast Pheasant Breast, Baked Herb-Crusted Hake Fillet, a superb Mixed Grill, and the fresh, wholesome Nourish Bowl. Just a few of the exciting dishes joining the menu this season. 🌿🔥

✨ Meet The Team Monday ✨

This week we’re introducing one of the newest members of our team, the very charming Oli! 👋😊

Oli is an extremely local lad, so there’s a good chance some of you already know him, and he’s recently joined us here at The Goshawk and we’re delighted to have him on board! 🙌

Oli is just about to start studying Law, English Language & Politics at St John Deane’s, which means he’s always up for a chat, a debate and a discussion about what’s going on in the world! 📚⚖️🌍

So if you’re looking for someone to put the world to rights over a pint, Oli might just be your man! 😂🍺

When he’s not studying or working with us, Oli enjoys keeping active with football and golf. ⚽⛳

On the football pitch he’s a talented right winger, so he clearly has a bit of pace about him. His golf, however, is perhaps a little less impressive… particularly when you take a look at his handicap! 😂⛳

And when it comes to his favourite thing here at The Goshawk, there’s really no debate at all…

It’s always been his favourite dish and, despite all his studying in politics, law and English, this is one subject where Oli has absolutely no intention of changing his position.

You simply can’t beat it! 😋

Oli brings plenty of enthusiasm, personality and a willingness to get stuck in, and we’re really pleased to have him as part of the team. ❤️

Skye is a gorgeous 4 year old Shihpoo who is always a pleasure to welcome to The Goshawk! ❤️ With her sweet nature and impeccable manners, she's won over both the team and our guests.

✨ Likes:
• Treats from her friends at The Goshawk 🍖🥰
• Playing with her ball 🎾
• Cuddling up with her rabbit teddy 🐰

🙈 Dislikes:
• Being left home alone when her family go out 😢

🛋️ Favourite Pastime:
• Stretching out on the sofa and relaxing in comfort when the family are out!

⭐ Fun Fact:
Skye is quite possibly one of the best behaved dogs we've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Whether she's visiting the pub or out and about, she's always on her best behaviour and is an absolute credit to her family. 🐾✨

We always love seeing Skye pop in for a visit and, judging by how quickly she heads over for treats, we think she quite likes us too! ❤️

JW Lees Bitter... 🍺 A proper pub classic and the go-to pint for so many of our guests! ❤️

Brewed by JW Lees since 1828, this all-malt amber ale has certainly stood the test of time. 🍻. Deep amber in colour, with a lovely floral aroma, rich malt flavours and a smooth, satisfying bitterness, it's clean, dry and incredibly drinkable. There's even a subtle hint of citrus on the finish 🍊.

At 4.0% abc on cask, it's the kind of pint that's perfect for settling into a comfy chair in front of top one of our roaring log fires, catching up with friends or enjoying alongside a good meal. 🍽️🔥

✨ Meet The Team Monday ✨

This week we’re introducing the newest member of Team Goshawk, the lovely Emmie! 👋😊

Emmie has recently joined us and is being mentored by our wonderful Evie, as she learns the ropes and prepares to take over her role when Evie heads off to the University of Leeds! 🎓❤️

And whilst we’re definitely not ready to say goodbye to Evie just yet, it’s lovely to know that we’re leaving her role in such capable hands. 🙌

Currently studying Carpentry & Joinery at Cheshire College South & West, Emmie is also proving to be a very handy person to have around! 🔨🪚😉

In fact, with those skills, we may have finally found someone who can be trusted with all those little jobs we’ve been putting off! 😂

Some of you may also recognise Emmie already, or see an uncanny resemblance, as she’s the younger sister of the lovely Erin who worked here not too long ago, so she’s got a family connection here at The Goshawk too! ❤️

We’re delighted to welcome Emmie to the team and we’re sure you’ll be seeing plenty more of her over the coming months as she settles in, learns from Evie and becomes a familiar face around the pub.

We’re looking forward to watching her grow in confidence and become a big part of Team Goshawk! 🌟

Honey is an 8½ year old Tibetan Terrier rescue with a big personality and an even bigger love of treats! ❤️

Whether she's out enjoying a long walk or popping into The Goshawk for a well-earned snack from the team, Honey knows exactly how to enjoy life. 🐶✨

✨ Likes:
• Long walks in the countryside 🌳🐾

• Sunny weather and dry paws ☀️

• Rain ☔😒

⭐ Fun Fact:
Honey has very selective hearing when it comes to doing as she's told! She can often be persuaded, but only if there's a suitable bribe involved... preferably in treat form! 😂🍪

With all the lovely weather we've been having recently, Honey has been in her element, making the most of every walk and every visit to the pub.

Well… we may have had a few little disagreements with the weather today, but you lot absolutely refused to let it dampen the party! 🌦️😂

A HUGE thank you to every single one of the fantastic acts who performed today. 🎶🎤🎸 You brought the music, the energy and the entertainment, and you made the Goshawk Garden Party one to remember!

A massive shout out too to our incredible Team Goshawk. ❤️

From the early starts and setting everything up, to keeping everyone fed, watered and smiling throughout the day, you worked your absolute socks off. And then, somehow, you still found the energy to dance like absolute legends! 💃🕺😂

But most importantly, thank you to all of YOU! ❤️

Our wonderful guests turned up ready to have a good time, and your energy, enthusiasm and sheer determination to enjoy yourselves completely banished the bad weather. 🌧️➡️🌞

You danced.
You sang.
You laughed.
You braved the rain.
