Sakura season in Japan may be drawing to a close, but we’re sending it off in style 🌸

The Prohibition team have been going head-to-head in our very own in-house cocktail competition, kindly sponsored by
& , and the results are in

Our top 3 were:
1. Niwa No-Chigiri - Hatozaki blended malt, Akashi-Tai junmai daiginjo genshu, Akashi-Tai ginjo yuzushu, salted rhubarb cordial ~ Connor
2. For Christ Sake - Nikka from the barrel, Akashi-Tai junmai daiginjo genshu, cucumber saccharum, orange bitters ~ Kyle
3. Earth, Wind and Fire - Akashi-Tai shiraume umeshu plum, fino sherry, Laphroaig quarter cask, peach bitters, seaweed rice tea syrup ~ Tom

Nesquik – Vodka, Mozart milk chocolate, butterscotch, cream & a hint of lavender

Alba Rosa – Vodka, Mozart white chocolate, raspberry liqueur & cream

Even better, each Mozart cocktail comes with a scratch card for your chance to win a Mozart sharing pack, or go big with the grand prize: a luxurious Mozart hamper 

We’ll have these cocktails on the menu for two weeks, so you’ve got plenty of opportunity either side of this Easter bank holiday weekend to win, or simply enjoy a delicious drink

We had a really tough day yesterday tasting through our SS26 cocktail menu. It’s fun and guaranteed to get you talking, but most importantly it’s tasty & delicious with something for everyone. (Not to worry, the BlackForest and Old Fashioned’s are still on there)

Our new menu launches this Thursday and to help we’ve got some live music lined up.
Thursday we have Martin on the ivories from 9pm and Friday we have Peter Stevenson on the sax with some jazz and swing, prohibition style.

New cocktails, live music, and the perfect excuse for a night out.

See out the year in true Prohibition style. We’ll be open from 5PM until 2AM, serving delicious cocktails as we count down to midnight.

It’s been a great Christmas, and we’d like to say a huge thank you from all of our team to our wonderful customers for making it so special.

Start the night early or join us late — either way, we’ll be raising a glass to 2026 with you.

Christmas has arrived at Prohibition 🎄

Our Christmas decorations are up and we’ve come up with 3 festive cocktails that have been going down a treat in the last few weeks.

There’s no need to book, but the option is there if you’re a party of 6 or more - email [email protected] or send us a DM.

We’re extending our opening hours for the week before Christmas, giving you plenty more opportunity to enjoy a post shopping cocktail!
