The Plough Inn is a traditional country inn situated in Christleton near the city of Chester. A good range of ales, wines and other refreshments are available. Meals are served daily and a good selection are on offer including vegetarian dishes. A daily specials board adds to the selection and all meals, wherever possible are made with locally sourced and seasonal produce. The Plough Inn boasts a

well maintained & enclosed beer garden The pub has full disabled facilities and access. Walkers enjoying the local Cheshire countryside are welcomed as are well behaved dogs (except in the restaurant) if kept on a lead. Our dear friend Chris Coan is raising money…

For Terry: In memory of a great person, dear friend, husband, father & grandfather.

I've been on a journey of physical rehab for 18 months, with an aging body that was slowly becoming redundant. I decided to take myself in hand, set a goal of a triathlon, and have been working with a specialist athletics/tri coach, rehab & conditioning expert, and swim coach to get start line competent.

Personal motivation is lifted another notch when you're competing for both the memory of a great person, and a cause that is investing with a positive intent to change the quality of people's lives for generations to come. It's a privilege be able to reach the start line knowing the cause & memory that I'm committing too.

Tomorrow marks 16 years since Dave and Pauline first got the keys to The Plough 🔑

For 35 years, Dave and Pauline were inseparable as husband and wife and The Plough is very lucky to have been taken over by such an incredible couple. It is bittersweet to reach this anniversary without Pauline but Dave continues to carry the load and the love he has for the business they created together.

Dave and the team want to say a profound thank you to all our customers and staff, both past and present. You aren’t just customers, you are the friends who have kept the heart of this pub beating.

Tomorrow we celebrate 16 years of hard work, but mostly we honor the woman who gave everything to make it possible. We miss her more than words can ever capture and we hope we continue to make her proud.
