Watergate's Bar is a historic pub in Chester, and is said to be situated in the oldest medieval crypt in England, dating back to the 12th-century. Our menu features classic British pub food, such as hand-battered fish and chips, pie and mash, burgers and many more dishes to please every taste. The bar also has an extensive drinks offering, from cask ales, wines, spirits, cocktails and more. Grab a drink and watch live sports on our screens, or just relax and connect to our free Wi-Fi. We welcome dogs and have disabled facilities, ensuring every customer is welcome. And if you're hosting a special occasion, enquire about our function rooms for hire. We can't wait to welcome you into our family-friendly pub soon.
